How many of you have used the ‘ideal weight calculator?’

Or were told by a medical professional what your ‘ideal’ weight should be?

How many have thought that number was then the holy grail for what your weight is ‘supposed’ to be?

I feel ya! I thought that too! I fought hard to get to my ‘ideal’ weight and then some for 15 years!

I had one specific number that I HAD to be at, because that’s what my doctors told me, my nutritionists told me, and the internet told me.

It must be true then, right?!

NOPE!

All that lead to was a constant obsession over my weight, my body, and with food.

Once I was able to let go of those ‘ideals’ and just listen to my body and trust that over time my body would get to a natural weight, then I was able to find the freedom I was searching for.
