I used to step as FAR away from even the thought of leaving my eat disorder.

It was my best friend, my confidant, the one thing I could trust, and it never seemed to let me down.

Asking me to let go of that and ‘hope for the best’ in something else was always met with extreme RESISTANCE!

How could someone ask me to just ‘let go’ of my identity?
